No brake of dawn to reveal a new day
the cracking ground will now repay
the deeds of mankind, violation and pollutions
forever lasting darkness falls upon the sky

with death and chaos we have to reclaim our depth
the world is taking its last mangled breath
desolation falls upon the earth
burying all life, to its last berth

Burning skies above, blazing earth below
blazing fires burning away the dawn
of the new day, we shall perish
desolation falls upon, and all life is banished

The time is running low, to escape the destruction
many paths, but only one direction
no more turning back, from this eruption
frozen shores,thousand lakes vanishing, ancient ruins falling
I kneel before the end of all, I see shadows growing longer, embrasing the night

The last breath, has been taken
the air around me, increasing my burden
the sound of living, sound of dying, it all suffocates
all I see, all I feel changes to forever lasting blindness

The end of all, beginning of new life
planets far beyond will remember our existence
and when all is gone, im left alone
no one to see, no one to feel, I´m alone in the dark of destruction

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer
