When the blinding darkness arrives
and the winds starts to cry
odd light suddenly fills up the sky
brighter than thousand suns, brighter than any other one
the last flash of collapsing star

planets are perishing under powers unknown
the strenght of the unlimited forces are shown

Thousand lightyears away, the image still looks the same
even though the apocalypse awaits
Galaxies are vanishing when the black hole is growing
and slowly sweeping away the
Slowly dying universe
at the end of its days, all life is burned away
and the flames will brake the night, showing a blood red twilight

No stars left alight, when the flames fills all life, all life
and our worst nightmares comes alive when the meteors will fly far,
from the collapsing star, painting the nightsky with red scars
the darkness has come to stay

Only time will show, where will it lead, this event unknown
when stars are shooting down
Universe is blazing above, and every colour it burns of
leaving behind the desolation grow

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer
